Sophomore KT Kustritz was awarded the CollegeSwimming.com Division III Swimmer of the Week and the North Coast Athletic Conference's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after her multiple victories this past weekend against Ohio State, Akron and Xavier.
On Friday, Nov. 3 at Ohio State University, Kustritz posted a win in the 100 breaststroke for the NCAA's first 'A' cut time of the year at 1:01.51. She also logged a season-best in the 200 breast, finishing with a 'B' cut time of 2:17.50.
In Denison's team win over Xavier University on Saturday, Nov. 4, Kustritz clocked in at 1:02.54 for a win in the 100 breast, and recorded a second place finish in the 100 fly with a 'B' cut time of 56.73.
Kustritz helped her squad defeat Division I Xavier University by a score of 145-117 for its first dual meet victory of the season. At last year's NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championship, Kustritz recorded six All-American finishes and was the national runner-up in the 100 breaststroke while helping Denison to a fourth-place finish in the team standings.
