Masney named NCAC AOW

Denison junior Victoria Masney was named North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week after a strong showing at the Kenyon Invitational last weekend.

On Friday, Masney registered an NCAA 'A' cut in the 100 butterfly prelim with a time of 55.28.  Her clocking in the 100 fly was her personal-best and the best time turned in by a DU women's swimmer this season.  The junior also posted an NCAA 'B' cut in the 100 back prelim with a time of 57.84 on Saturday.

Masney and the Big Red swimming and diving squads return to competition at the 2012 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Championships held February 15-18 at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio.
