In just her third career tournament, Brynn FitzGerald won medalist honors for the second time, helping the Big Red to a runner-up finish at the Wooster Fall Invitational. Fitzgerald followed up her opening round 79, with a 78 on Sunday to win the tournament by three strokes. The overall team title went to Baldwin-Wallace at 668. The Big Red checked in 17 strokes behind with a 685.
Following Fitzgerald in a tie for sixth-place overall was Stacey Adams and Amanda Castle. Adams fired an 89 on Sunday while Castle shot a 92. Carly Schultz continued her strong play on Sunday with an 89 that landed her in a tie for 10th place.
Denison will close out the fall season Oct. 13-14 at the Pat Clouse Invitational in Springfield, Ohio.
