GREENCASTLE, Ind.— Maya Howard scored 23 points and Sydney Kopp added 17 as No. 10 DePauw held off Denison, 60-46 from Neal Fieldhouse.  With the win, the Tigers improve to 22-1 and 14-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference while Denison drops to 11-12 and 8-6 in conference play.

DePauw held a 27-20 lead at the half and opened the third quarter on a 14-2 run.  In the fourth, Denison cut the DePauw lead to seven after an Alison Schafer 3-pointer and Jordan Holmes free throw.  Another bucket by Holmes with 3:21 to play made it 50-44 in favor of the Tigers.

Over the final three minutes, the home team closed the game on a 9-2 run to clinch the win.

Jordan Holmes led Denison with 18 points, eight rebounds, seven blocks and three steals.  Schafer added 10 points and four steals in 32 minutes.

Denison shot 35 percent from the field and was outrebounded 33-28.  DePauw connected on 43 percent of their shots and was 23 percent from 3-point range.

DU will try and bounce back on Saturday when they travel to Meadville, Pennsylvania for a 1 p.m. tipoff against Allegheny.
