Casey Cempre was named to the All-NCAC first team.

The Denison men's tennis team had four athletes on the 2013 All-North Coast Athletic Conference squad.  Sophomores Casey Cempre and Grant Veltman earned first and second-team honors, respectively, while junior Andrew Marczak and sophomore Shankar Rajupet both received honorable mention recognition.

Cempre garnered first-team honors after landing on the honorable mention squad last season.  The sophomore posted a 14-8 record, including a 2-1 record in conference play.  Cempre posted a 5-5 record at the top singles flight thanks to a four-match winning streak to close out the season.  He also went 2-1 at No. 2 singles and 3-0 at the third flight.

Veltman made his debut on the all-conference squad after going 13-9 playing at the top three singles flights.  The second-year athlete went 11-6 in dual matches, including a 2-1 record in league action.  Veltman posted a 7-6 record at second singles and went a combined 4-0 at No. 1 and 3 singles.

Marczak posted a 15-6 record, including a perfect 3-0 mark in NCAC play.  The junior went 8-2 and 4-2 at third and fourth singles, respectively.  He currently ranks 17th on DU's career wins list with 36 victories.  Rajupet earned NCAC honors after recorded a team-best 18 victories, which ranks fourth on the school's single-season list.  Both Marczak and Rajupet closed out the season riding five-match winning streaks.

The No. 1 doubles team of Veltman and Rajupet earned second-team all-conference honors after going 8-6 in 2013.  After winning their only match at the second flight, the duo moved up to No. 1 singles where they went 6-5, including a 2-1 record in conference play.
