Denison travels to N.Y. for last tourney of the fall

After the first round of the Hudson National Fall Classic the Big Red find themselves in second place, just four strokes off the pace set by Rensselaer.  DU turned in an opening round 313 led by Aaron Klimchuk's two-over par, 73 at the 6,431-yard Hudson National Golf Course in Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y. Klimchuk's round was the lowest of the day.

Following Klimchuk in a tie for ninth place is Jimmy Slovitt who finished with a 78.  Dylan Francis followed with a 79 and Jeff Maier closed out DU's scoring with an 83.

Three of the seven teams at the tournament did not finish the first round due to darkness.  Farmingdale State, NYU, and Trinity (Conn.) will conclude its first round on Monday morning, prior to the start of the second round that will conclude on Monday afternoon.
