A strong showing at the Rosecrans Maurer Invitational by the Big Red men's golf team resulted in a fourth-place finish.  Denison posted a two-day total of 601 and finished just six strokes behind first-place, Allegheny.

After a career-low 69 in the opening round on Saturday, sophomore Jimmy Slovitt returned with a four-over par 76 to finish in a tie for third-place on the leaderboard with teammate Aaron Klimchuk.  After a first-round 76, Klimchuk followed with a 69 on Sunday which was the low round of the day.

Dylan Francis followed with a 77 while Steve Geldart and Jeff Maier followed with 79s.

While Slovitt and Klimchuk finished in third-place out of 93 golfers, medalist honors went to Allegheny's Oliver White who fired rounds of 69 and 72.
