Race tightens at NCAC Series
Aaron Kilmchuk's rounds of 73 and 79 have Denison moving up the leaderboard.

After playing 36 holes in blustery conditions, the race for the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship continued to tighten.  The series, which includes the 36 holes played at the Allegheny Invitational last weekend, has Denison in third place with 1238 strokes.

They trail second-place Ohio Wesleyan by just one stroke heading into Sunday's final round.  The Battling Bishops have totaled 1237 strokes while Wittenberg sits in first-place at 1201.

Today, the Big Red fired rounds of 304 and 314 at the Oberlin Golf Club.  Sophomore Aaron Klimchuk paced DU with rounds of 73 and 79.  His rounds tied for seventh in the field of 49 golfers.

Dylan Lee and Dylan Francis followed with two-round totals of 154.  Lee fired scores of 76 and 78 while Francis countered with rounds of 78 and 76.  DU's final scoring rounds were counted by Jimmy Slovitt who turned in a 77 on his first 18 and 81 on his second.
