For the second consecutive week Denison boasted a pair of North Coast Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week after competing at the Division III All-Ohio Championship. This week’s honorees were junior Tiffany Davis and first-year Wallace Branche.
Davis was named the women’s Sprint/Hurdles Athlete of the Week after posting a pair of second-place finishes at the All-Ohio Championship in the 60 meter dash and the 200 meter dash. Davis posted a time of 7.92 seconds in the 60 and a time of 25.89 in the 200. She boasts top times in the NCAC in both events, this season.
Branche earned his first weekly honor from the NCAC after placing third in the triple jump at the All-Ohio Championship. He covered a distance of 44’3.25” and was the lone freshman in the top-10 of the standings at the meet.
The Big Red will return to action on Saturday when they compete at the Kenyon College Classic.
