For the first time since 2010, the North Coast Athletic Conference Tennis Championships will be held at Denison University this weekend (April 25-27). The tournament begins on Friday with the quarterfinal matches, while the semifinal and consolation semifinal matches will be played on Saturday. Sunday will feature the championship and third-place matches for both the men and women.
On the men’s side, top-seeded Kenyon will open the tournament against the No. 8 seeded Ohio Wesleyan, while second-seeded DePauw will take on seventh-seeded Wabash. Both matches will take place at 9 a.m. on Friday. At 11 a.m., No. 3 Denison will take on sixth-seeded Wittenberg and fourth-seeded Allegheny battles No. 5 Oberlin.
At 1 p.m., the top-seeded DePauw women will face off against the No. 8 seed Wittenberg, while second-seeded Denison takes on seventh-seeded Ohio Wesleyan. Friday’s quarterfinal round will conclude with matches that feature No. 3 Oberlin against sixth-seeded Wooster, and No. 4 Kenyon versus No. 5 Allegheny.
