Breast Cancer Awareness Week kicks off this Saturday at Denison

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Denison University Athletics will team with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure at all home athletic events from Oct. 13-20. Volunteers will be accepting donations and distributing information at the main gate of Barclay-Thomsen Field (soccer), The Trumbull Aquatics Center (Swimming & Diving) Piper Stadium (football/field hockey), and Livingston Gymnasium (volleyball). 

Selected events for Denison’s Breast Cancer Awareness Week are as follows:

Saturday, Oct. 13 Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving at 1 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 13 Men’s Soccer vs. Wabash at 1 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 17  Field Hockey vs. Kenyon at 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 17 Women’s Soccer vs. Wittenberg at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 17  Volleyball vs. Ohio Wesleyan at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 20  Football vs. Washington University at 1 p.m.

All donations collected at the events will go to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Columbus and the Allison Knobel-Sitton Scholarship Fund at Denison.
